Job summary

MSD Malaysia seeks a Clinical Director (Principal Scientist) to lead the planning and execution of oncology clinical research across all development stages. You will manage trial design, monitoring, analysis, regulatory reporting and publication with a global team.

The role requires MD or MD/PhD with industry or academic experience, and a strong track record in clinical medicine and biomedical research. Board eligibility in oncology is preferred; strong collaboration and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

MD or MD/PhD with trial experience in industry or academia.
Board Certified or Eligible in Oncology (and/or Hematology) preferred; publication history desirable.

Responsibilities

Plan and oversee clinical development of oncology medicines from design to publication.
Develop development strategies for investigational or marketed oncology drugs.
Plan trials (design, settings, operational plans) based on strategy.
Monitor and manage ongoing or new clinical trials.
Summarize findings to support safety/efficacy decisions and regulatory submissions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in commercialization, regulatory, statistics, and manufacturing.
