Job summary

The role demands current APRN/PA licensure, board certifications, and a Supervision Agreement or Standard Care Arrangement with a physician, aligning with safety and quality goals of a High Reliability Organization.

Qualifications

• APRN/PA licensure and board certification required.
• Supervision Agreement (SA) or Standard Care Arrangement (SCA) with a physician required.
• Active RNFA/First Assistant credential or eligible for credentialing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Surgery First Assistant in thoracic surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeon in OR and during procedures.
• Perform invasive procedures with high level of independent decision-making.
• Maintain SA/SCA with collaborating physician and adhere to privileges.
