Thoracic Medical Oncologist
Lowe Center for Thoracic Oncology

The Carole M. and Philip L. Lowe Center for Thoracic Oncology, Department of Medical Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), and the Department of Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, are seeking a thoracic oncologist. The focus of this position is on clinical care of patients with thoracic malignancies. Clinical and translational investigation with experience in clinical trials is valued but not required. The successful candidate will engage in teaching students, house staff, and fellows in the clinic and inpatient settings and is also expected to take an active role in the Lowe Center’s clinical activities, which may include the ability to develop, participate in, and lead clinical or translational research projects. The Lowe Center for Thoracic Oncology integrates multidisciplinary treatment, outpatient care, clinical trials, and coordination of laboratory research on patients with thoracic malignancies.


The position will be based in both the Department of Medical Oncology at DFCI and the Department of Medicine at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and includes collaboration with other institutions affiliated with the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center and the Harvard Medical School.


The academic appointment will be at the Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor level at Harvard Medical School and determined by the applicant's credentials. Salary and benefits will be competitive with other institutions. Applicants should have an MD or MD/PhD degree and should be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
