Thoracic Imaging Academic Clinician - Senior Ranks

Responsibilities

• Teaching responsibilities may include daily clinical supervision of residents and cardiothoracic imaging fellows and lecturing to medical students, radiology residents, fellows, and trainees from other departments. The successful candidate will be expected to serve in an educational leadership role within the division.
• Clinical responsibilities may include interpretation of chest radiographs, thoracic CT and thoracic MRI. Performance of thoracic needle biopsies is preferred. There is an option to participate in the cardiovascular CT and MRI clinical practice. The successful candidate will also participate in shared after hour and weekend coverage.
• Penn Radiology provides clinical services for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia Veteran Affairs Medical Center, and affiliated outpatient imaging centers located in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
• This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years experience.

Qualifications

The Department of Radiology seeks candidates who meet the following requirements: an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree; American Board of Radiology certification or eligibility with sub-specialty training in Cardiothoracic Radiology.
