Overview

Cardiovascular Imaging - Academic Clinician - Junior Rank

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Responsibilities
  • Teaching responsibilities may include daily clinical supervision of residents and cardiovascular imaging fellows and lecturing to medical students, radiology residents, fellows and trainees from other departments.
  • Clinical responsibilities may include interpreting in all aspects of cardiovascular radiology, including cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and vascular CTA and MRA.
  • Participate in shared after-hours and weekend coverage.
  • Collaborate with the Penn Radiology Cardiovascular Imaging Division, which provides specialized expertise to the Penn Aorta Program and handles a high volume and variety of cases (e.g., coronary CTA, CT for structural heart disease, TAVR, TMVR, TTVR, and cardiac MRI).
  • Provide care in collaboration with cardiologists to deliver comprehensive services.
Affiliations and Locations

The Penn Radiology Cardiovascular Imaging Division partners with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and affiliated outpatient imaging centers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Qualifications
  • M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
  • American Board of Radiology certified or eligible with appropriate sub-specialty training.
  • Eligible for or holding an academic clinician track appointment at the Assistant Professor level (non-tenure).
