About the Role

In this role, you will engage and connect with our customers by providing excellent customer service. You will be an expert in product knowledge and use this expertise to educate, inform, inspire, and outfit the customer. You will provide information on current merchandise, store promotions, and events, while executing operational processes effectively and efficiently. Your goal is to bring our brand to life for our customers, build brand loyalty, and deliver results with productivity.

What You'll Do
  • Become an expert in the brand's selling behaviors and leverage these behaviors with every customer to provide a premium experience.
  • Serve as a role model to achieve store priorities, with the customer as the primary focus.
  • Support the store leadership team to collaborate effectively with employees and ensure work tasks are completed timely and efficiently.
  • Build and share expertise in a specialized functional area.
  • Support store opening and closing procedures as needed.
  • Listen to customers and ask questions to understand their needs, providing appropriate service.
  • Handle unique or complex customer interactions professionally and courteously.
Who You Are
  • Have successfully completed job readiness training through one of Gap Inc.'s nonprofit partners.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to utilize technology and engage with customers and team members to meet goals.
  • Problem solver focused on continuous improvement, always learning, open to feedback, and taking action as needed.
  • Able to handle customer interactions and concerns professionally and courteously.
  • Able to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training.
