About the Role

This role involves engaging and connecting with customers by providing excellent customer service. You will be an expert in our products and use this knowledge to educate, inform, inspire, and assist customers. Your responsibilities include sharing information about our merchandise, promotions, and events, as well as executing operational processes efficiently. The goal is to bring our brand to life for customers, build brand loyalty, and deliver productivity.

What You'll Do
  1. Acknowledge and assist customers; locate merchandise efficiently; answer questions accurately.

  2. Offer style and outfit suggestions, utilizing mannequins and displays for inspiration.

  3. Promote loyalty by educating customers about our loyalty programs.

  4. Leverage omnichannel offerings to deliver a seamless customer experience.

  5. Support sales floor, fitting room, checkout, and back-of-house processes as required.

  6. Respond courteously and promptly to internal and external requests.

  7. Exchange and verify job-related information to provide support.

Who You Are
  • Have successfully completed job readiness training through one of Gap Inc’s nonprofit partners.

  • Effective communicator with the ability to utilize technology and engage with customers and team members to meet goals.

  • A problem solver focused on continuous improvement, open to feedback, and proactive in taking action.

  • Capable of handling customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally.

  • Able to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training.
