About the Role

In this role, you will engage and connect with our customers by providing excellent customer service. You will be an expert in product knowledge and use this expertise to educate, inform, inspire, and outfit the customer. You will offer information on current merchandise assortment, store promotions, and events, and execute operational processes effectively and efficiently. Your goal is to bring our brand to life for our customers, build brand loyalty, and deliver productivity.

What You'll Do
  1. Become an expert in the brand's selling behaviors and leverage these with every customer to provide a premium experience.
  2. Serve as a role model to achieve store priorities, with the customer as the primary focus.
  3. Support the store leadership team in collaborating effectively with employees and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
  4. Build and share expertise in a specialized functional area.
  5. Support store opening and/or closing processes as needed.
  6. Listen and ask questions to understand customer needs and provide appropriate service.
  7. Handle complex customer interactions professionally and courteously.
Who You Are
  • Have completed job readiness training with one of Gap Inc.’s nonprofit partners.
  • Effective communicator skilled in using technology to engage with customers and team members to meet goals.
  • A problem solver focused on continuous improvement, open to feedback, and proactive in taking action.
  • Able to handle customer concerns courteously and professionally.
  • Capable of learning procedural knowledge through on-the-job training.
