Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Must be qualified to operate forklift.
• Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.

Responsibilities

• Operate and care for forklift safely.
• Inspect forklift before each shift and when using a new forklift; report maintenance needs.
• Locate stock before the run begins.
• Deliver stock to machines on time and safely.
• Remove finished goods from machines.
• Maintain neat, safe stock stacks in storage areas.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain accurate stock locations in paperwork and on the computer.
• Maximize equipment utilization by operating at capacity and speed.
• Follow daily production schedule and suggest schedule optimizations to meet goals.
• Assist other forklift operators and back up Shipping Lead Person.
• Complete reports on Production Data, Machine Status, Safety Data, Quality Data.
• Comply with company policies and maintain good housekeeping.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
