Job summary

Univest is seeking a Third-Party Risk Management Manager to lead the enterprise TPRM program and ensure vendor compliance with security, privacy, and resiliency standards.

You will partner with business leaders, risk teams, and external vendors, performing due diligence and ongoing monitoring while guiding junior staff and aligning with procurement, IT, and legal policies. Hybrid work arrangement available in a financial services environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, risk management, information security, or related field.
  • 5-7 years’ progressive direct experience in third-party risk management or similar risk oversight role, preferably in financial services.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and administering an enterprise TPRM program.
  • Experience with Ncontracts or similar vendor management software.
  • Ability to supervise junior staff.
  • Strong time management, organizational, evaluative, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Relevant professional certification such as CTPRP, CTPRA, CBVM, CRVPM, or comparable preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own and administer the enterprise TPRM program, including policies, procedures, vendor tiering, and vendor lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with third parties, business owners, executive sponsors, and compliance, legal, and risk management functions to fulfill TPRM requirements; align with procurement, information security, privacy, AI, and business continuity policies.
  • Perform due diligence on providers by reviewing financial statements, insurance, regulatory and compliance reports, and SOC reports.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of providers to ensure risk remains within TPRM standards.
  • Manage and maintain all vendor documentation and risk assessments in the system.
  • Monitor changes in laws, regulations and guidance to enhance the TPRM program.
  • Publish monthly status reports on program activities.
  • Serve as TPRM contact for regulatory examinations and audits.
  • Guide TPRM team with feedback and quality reviews; ensure policy compliance.
  • Assist CRO/CCO with policy revisions.
  • Ensure compliance with Univest Code of Conduct.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Overview

Join Univest as a Third-Party Risk Management Manager and play a key role in strengthening our enterprise vendor risk program. In this role, you’ll oversee third-party risk management processes, partner with business leaders and risk teams, conduct due diligence and ongoing monitoring, and help ensure vendors meet Univest’s standards for compliance, security, and operational resilience. Responsibilities


  • Own and administer the enterprise TPRM program, including policies, procedures, vendor tiering, and vendor lifecycle.

  • Demonstrate leadership skills by working closely with third parties, business owners, executive sponsors, and compliance, legal, and other risk management functions in fulfilling TPRM requirements; includes aligning the program with procurement processes, information security, privacy, artificial intelligence, and business continuity requirements and policies.

  • Perform due diligence on providers by reviewing financial statements, insurance, regulatory and compliance reports, and SOC reports.

  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of existing providers to ensure the risk profile continues to meet the standards of the TPRM program.

  • Manage and maintain all documentation, including contracts and risk assessments, related to vendor reviews and due diligence activities in the system.

  • Monitor changes in applicable laws, regulations, and supervisory guidance to assess impacts and needed enhancements to the TPRM program.

  • Publish monthly status reports on program activities.

  • Serve as the TPRM contact for regulatory examinations and internal and external audits.

  • Guide the TPRM function and junior staff by providing advice and constructive feedback; monitoring compliance with policies and procedures; and conducting quality reviews of work product.

  • AssistCRO, CCO, and other stakeholders with regular review and revision of program policies and procedures.

  • Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.

  • Perform otherdutiesand projects as assigned.



Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, risk management, information security, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • 5-7 years’ progressive direct experience in a third-party (vendor) risk management, procurement risk, operational risk, or information security risk, or similar oversight role; preferably in a financial services environment.

  • Demonstrated experience implementing and administering an enterprise TPRM risk program.

  • Experience with Ncontracts or similar vendor management software.

  • Ability to supervise junior staff members.

  • Strong time management, organizational,evaluative, communication, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to workautonomously.

  • Relevant professional certification, such as CTPRP, CTPRA, CBVM , CRVPM, or a comparable credential preferred.

  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.



Wage Range

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $125,000
