Job summary

BSI is seeking a Third-Party ISO 27001 auditor to work from home across Canada with travel as needed. You will deliver audit services to assigned clients, conduct audits as Team Leader or Team Member, and ensure compliance with BSI schemes and regulatory requirements to assure timely, cost effective service delivery and client satisfaction.

• Active ISO 27001 certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of assigned clients based on location and ensure a match of qualifications and client contract requirements set by Planners.
• Contact clients and confirm visits, plan assessments, make travel plans, conduct assessments, report and manage results.
• Safely commute to and from client sites and stay overnight when required.
• Monitor client accounts to ensure records, visit cycles, invoicing and related matters meet client satisfaction.
• Follow the Competence Development plan and requirements by Manager.
• Develop to reach Assessor status and then Lead Assessor status through the prescribed program and maintain auditor qualifications.
• Lead teams when necessary and mentor new or inexperienced colleagues to meet business needs.
• Attend required training and follow procedures for management of clients, home-based office, equipment use and communication.

Responsible for delivering BSI’s audit services to assigned clients in accordance with all BSI, scheme and regulatory requirements to assure timely, cost effective service delivery that assures satisfaction of our customer needs. The individual will conduct various types of audits as Team Leader or Team Member. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified and experienced 3rd party bilingual IATF auditor.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of assigned clients based on location and ensure a match of qualifications and client contract requirements set by Planners.
• Contact clients and confirm the visits, plan the assessments, make travel plans, conduct the assessments and report and managing the results.
• Safely commute to and from the client site and stay overnight when required.
• Monitor the client accounts to ensure that records, visit cycle, invoicing and other related matters are properly dealt with to assure client satisfaction is maintained.
• Follow the Competence Development plan and requirements by Manager.
• Development in order to reach assessor status and then Lead Assessor status through the prescribed program (based on the knowledge, skills and experience they have as well as the requirements of the appropriate schemes) and maintain auditor and scheme qualifications.
• Lead teams when necessary and mentor and coach new or inexperienced colleagues as needed to meet the business needs.
• Attend any required training and follow allprocedures/processes/policieswithin BSI for management of clients, management of a home based office, use of BSI equipment and communication both internal and external to the organization.
• Perform any other assignments as needed to meet assessment delivery business objectives

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must hold active ISO 27001
• Bilingual Preferred (French).
