BSI is seeking a Third-Party IATF 16949 Auditor to deliver audit services across Canada from a home-based setup. You’ll conduct audits as Team Leader or Team Member, ensuring compliance with BSI schemes and client contracts while travelling as required.

The role requires active IATF auditor credentials, good standing, and bilingual ability (French preferred). You will develop to Lead Assessor status through a formal program and coach new colleagues as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of assigned clients ensuring qualifications and contract alignment.
• Contact clients, confirm visits, plan assessments, arrange travel, conduct assessments, and report results.
• Safely commute to client sites and stay overnight when required.
• Monitor client accounts, visits, and invoicing to maintain satisfaction.
• Follow the Competence Development plan and grow through the program toward Lead Assessor.
• Lead teams when needed and mentor new colleagues.
• Attend required training and follow procedures for home-based office and client management.
• Perform other assignments to meet delivery objectives.

For this role:

Responsible for delivering BSI’s audit services to assigned clients in accordance with all BSI, scheme and regulatory requirements to assure timely, cost effective service delivery that assures satisfaction of our customer needs. The individual will conduct various types of audits as Team Leader or Team Member. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified and experienced 3rd party bilingual IATF auditor.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of assigned clients based on location and ensure a match of qualifications and client contract requirements set by Planners.

• Contact clients and confirm the visits, plan the assessments, make travel plans, conduct the assessments and report and managing the results.

• Safely commute to and from the client site and stay overnight when required.

• Monitor the client accounts to ensure that records, visit cycle, invoicing and other related matters are properly dealt with to assure client satisfaction is maintained.

• Follow the Competence Development plan and requirements by Manager.

• Development in order to reach assessor status and then Lead Assessor status through the prescribed program (based on the knowledge, skills and experience they have as well as the requirements of the appropriate schemes) and maintain auditor and scheme qualifications.

• Lead teams when necessary and mentor and coach new or inexperienced colleagues as needed to meet the business needs.

• Attend any required training and follow allprocedures/processes/policieswithin BSI for management of clients, management of a home based office, use of BSI equipment and communication both internal and external to the organization.

• Perform any other assignments as needed to meet assessment delivery business objectives

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must hold active IATF auditor credentials and be in good standing
• Bilingual Preferred (French).
