Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements instruction with effective teaching strategies and time on task.
• Prepares substitute folder and assigns work to paraprofessionals and volunteers.
• Keeps current in subject matter knowledge and contributes to curriculum revision.
• Maintains classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate discipline.
• Communicates progress with parents and participates in meetings and planning.
• Evaluates student progress using multiple assessment methods and adjusts instruction.
