Job summary

Micron Technology in Manassas, VA seeks a Thin Films Equipment Maintenance Technician to maintain and improve semiconductor deposition equipment. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on troubleshooting in manufacturing or related fields.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience reading schematics, drawings, and maintenance docs.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication; able to work independently and in a team.
• Able to work in a cleanroom and lift up to 40 lb.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on Thin Films deposition equipment per procedures and schedules.
• Execute corrective maintenance to restore production safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, vacuum, gas delivery, robotics, and automation systems.
• Respond to faults to minimize downtime; support startups and recoveries.
• Maintain maintenance documentation and ensure compliance with standards.
• Support reliability improvement and TPM initiatives.
