Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Santa Rosa, CA, is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional team focused on manufacturing quality, throughput, yield, and uptime across thin-film based products.

You will oversee product design to full production sustainment, drive disciplined engineering processes, and collaborate with the CTO to deliver new processes and growth initiatives while supporting Sales & Marketing with technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Material Science, Physics or related field.
• Experience with sputtering and evaporation designs and processes to produce optical thin-film based products.

Responsibilities

• Managing the engineering team and cross-functional engagement with the operations team to support manufacturing quality, throughput, yield, and uptime.
• Oversees engineering action plans and program development processes to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
• Deliver documented engineering processes that are measured and improved.
• Works closely with the CTO to deliver new processes and products to support strategic growth initiatives.
• Supports Sales & Marketing teams with technical support for customer retention and new business development.
