Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and installation of semiconductor tools in our Dallas fab. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to resolve issues efficiently and maintain tool performance.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork, with a focus on delivering reliable equipment and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years of semiconductor experience as Technician OR 8 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experience.
• Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs
• Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool related issues
• Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed
• Prepare the technical report and summary findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
