Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to drive customer success in thermoplastics. You will apply your expertise in compounding, injection molding, and extrusion to resolve technical inquiries and deliver tailored solutions.

Responsibilities include developing technical data, creating training materials, and collaborating across teams to support customers and internal stakeholders. Travel up to 40% to meet client needs and build strong relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical/Plastics/Polymer Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of thermoplastic processes (compounding, injection molding, extrusion).
• Experience in TS&D or customer-facing roles.
• 5+ years in product development, processing, testing, and problem solving.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and exceptional customer service to clients.
• Coordinate generation of technical data necessary to qualify the product for customers and targeted applications.
• Develop and provide product training and assist with product literature.
• Communicate effectively with customers to gather feedback and provide customized solutions.
• Document results in the required customer format.
• Develop and implement strategic approaches for troubleshooting quality issues related to product performance.
• Participate in the global technical network and ensure knowledge transfer.
