Job summary

Ultipro in Indianapolis, IN 46268 is seeking a Thermoforming Set Up Operator to safely operate and change tooling on thermoforming machines. You will maximize changeover efficiency, perform minor maintenance, ensure product quality, and maintain documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment to peak efficiency, following SOPs, collaborating with engineering, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Experience operating thermoforming equipment and setting up tooling.
• Ability to follow SOPs and document setup data accurately.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to 5S and plant rules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and change tooling on thermoforming machines.
• Set up machines to maximize efficiency within SOPs.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance to improve SOPs and equipment.
• Maintain quality and clean, organized work area.
• Record data using setup cards, TPM sheets and related documents.
• Read, interpret and follow setup instructions and inspect tooling.
• Assist mold prep as needed to ensure tooling availability.
• Participate in safety programs and wear PPE as required.
