Job summary

Bath Fitter is seeking a hands-on Thermoforming Operator in its Tennessee Plant. You will trim, sand, and finish acrylic products, assemble components, inspect quality, and package finished tubs and shower bases.

This role is non-exempt and hourly, with a third shift schedule and opportunities for wage increases after probation. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED and prior manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and follow precise work

You'll help fabricate, inspect, finish, and package products while ensuring every item meets Bath Fitter's quality standards.

In this role, you will:
  • Trim, sand, buff, and finish acrylic products
  • Prepare testers and two-piece front tubs
  • Bend tub rails and perform assembly tasks
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Package and transport tubs, shower bases, and related products
  • Level and repair tubs as needed
  • Rotate between workstations based on production needs
  • Carry and transport materials, molds, inventory, and supplies
  • Take precise measurements and follow production specifications
  • Operate production machinery, tools, and equipment
  • Enter production data into computer systems
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
We're looking for someone with:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience operating manufacturing equipment, routers, band saws, or similar tools is a plus
  • Ability to safely use hand tools and cutting equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety rules, and procedures
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Ability to accurately use tape measures and measuring devices
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Adaptability to changing production priorities
  • Reliable attendance and strong dependability
Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on manufacturing role. Candidates must be able to:

  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
  • Push or pull up to 60 lbs.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Frequently grip, grasp, bend, twist, squat, crouch, and reach
  • Work in environments with moderate noise, humidity, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
