Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Thermoforming Operator to operate thermoforming machines, lead a small production team, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. The role involves managing 12-hour night shifts (6:55 p.m.–7:10 a.m.) in Fremont, Ohio, with responsibilities spanning production, QA, and continuous improvement.

You will monitor changeovers, minimize downtime, and coach staff to meet daily goals while upholding Amcor’s safety and quality standards.

  • Maintain tool boards, machine boards, audits, and check sheets.
  • Provide scheduled breaks and lunches for the production team.

Role Overview: Possibility in Your Hands Join Amcor as a Thermoforming Operator and help produce high-quality finished goods safely and efficiently. You will operate thermoforming equipment, lead a small production team, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards. Your role directly impacts productivity, product quality, and operational excellence.

Schedule & Shift

Shift: 12-hour 2-2-3 night shift (6:55 p.m. – 7:10 a.m.)

  • Pay: $21.49–$26.76/hour + $0.50/night shift premium
  • Overtime: 1.5x pay for hours over 40 per week

What you’ll do:
  • Operate thermoforming machines to produce finished goods safely and cost-effectively
  • Lead and coordinate assigned team members (Assistants and Packers) to achieve daily production goals
  • Monitor and minimize downtime through efficient changeovers and best practices
  • Conduct QA testing and inspections to ensure product meets specifications
  • Maintain tool boards, machine boards, audits, and check sheets
  • Provide scheduled breaks and lunches for the production team
  • Coach and train production staff as needed
  • Support plant operations and assist with tasks assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
  • Participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Follow all safety, quality, and food safety standards, and maintain a clean, organized work area

Physical Requirements:
