QPS Employment Group in Madison, WI is seeking a Machine Operator to set up, operate and troubleshoot thermoforming equipment to meet specifications. The role offers a 2nd, 3rd shift with 12-hour days or nights described, and a pay rate of $20.50–$21.73 per hour.

You will inspect machinery and tooling, ensure part quality, complete shift documentation, and participate in safety programs while wearing PPE. Candidates should have at least one year of manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude,

Qualifications

• One year manufacturing or related experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English to meet training, safety and quality requirements.

Responsabilités

• Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce thermoformed parts to specification.
• Inspect machinery, equipment and tooling prior to set-up; identify issues which adversely affect product requirements.
• Identify nonconforming materials/products and work with shift leader for resolution.
• Ensure part quality meets established standards and follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Complete all shift documentation/paperwork.
• Go over job status and updates with incoming shift.
• Participate in safety programs, follow all established safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
