Job summary

Novolex in Franklin Park, IL seeks a Thermoforming Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate thermoforming equipment, perform quality checks, and support safety and training requirements across shifts.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of manufacturing experience operating plastics processing equipment (thermoforms).
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
• Ability to read and operate micrometers.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Proven attendance history.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to complete all training required (procedures, equipment, safety).
• Basic operator PM and/or equipment cleaning.
• Perform visual inspection of products; identify attributes to quality in thermoform product.
• Willing to work other duties or tasks, as needed.
• Create shipping labels.
• Wrap palletized load.
• Lift and install roll shaft into roll.
• Use hoist to put roll onto unwind stand.
• Feed material through thermoformed and trim press.
• Make simple adjustments (heats, cycle time).
• Identify and fix jammed material in grinder and put line back into production.
