Job summary

Pyrotek is seeking a Thermocouple Assembler to process MgO material through various machine operations and assembly steps. The role runs Monday-Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:00 am in our Ohio facility, with duties spanning from material handling to final assembly and quality checks.

Responsibilities include interpreting work orders, operating equipment, recording production data, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. Prior experience in fabrication, basic math, and tool use are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year manufacturing/fabrication experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply basic drawings.
• Basic math skills using a calculator for measurements.
• Use of hand and power tools with precision; forklift cert preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ADP Self Service access.

Responsibilities

• Process magnesium oxide (MgO) into finished and semi-finished products via machine operations and assembly.
• Read and interpret work orders accurately.
• Operate straightener, track hourly production and record usage.
• Assemble components and interconnect wiring/subassemblies.
• Flag issues to supervisors; maintain clean, safe workstation; perform PM tasks.
