Job summary

Pyrotek is seeking a Thermocouple Assembler to process magnesium oxide (MgO) into finished products in a manufacturing setting. The role requires reading work orders, operating multiple machines, and assembling components with precision.

Responsibilities include adhering to production priorities, notifying supervisors of issues, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while potentially performing basic preventive maintenance. Experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing and/or fabrication experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply basic drawings.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) using a calculator.

Responsibilities

• Process MgO material into finished and semi-finished products via machine operations and assembly.
• Read and interpret work orders; record material usage and hourly production.
• Assemble components, interconnect wiring/subassemblies, and finished goods.
• Follow production priorities to meet Thermocouple customer requirements.
• Notify supervisor promptly of problems affecting output.
• Complete quality checks and report out-of-tolerance readings.
• Maintain a safe, clean workstation and perform basic PM tasks.
