Job summary

Thermo King West, Inc. in Horizon City, TX is seeking an Entry-Level Thermo King Service Technician. You will diagnose transport temperature equipment and perform repairs with high quality standards while maintaining safety and accuracy.

You will conduct routine maintenance, install equipment per Thermo King specifications, and support APU installation and servicing. Training and EPA certifications are preferred; willingness to travel and work overtime is required.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems preferred.
• EPA 608 Type II, 609 certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to obtain DOT medical card if needed

Responsibilities

• Proactively diagnose transport temperature equipment and perform repairs with high quality.
• Conduct routine maintenance procedures on transport temperature control equipment.
• Install transport temperature control equipment according to Thermo King specs.
• Perform APU installation, repairs, and service with high quality standards.
• Maintain knowledge of Thermo King product developments and service bulletins.
• Adhere to dealer and Thermo King standards; complete required paperwork.
