Job summary

Thermo King West, INC. is seeking an entry-level Service Technician to diagnose and repair transport refrigeration equipment and perform routine maintenance. The role requires basic mechanical skills, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel for training or customer needs.

Training will be provided to develop Thermo King expertise. Responsibilities include installing and servicing transport temperature control equipment, maintaining safety standards, and staying current with Thermo King

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of mechanical, transport refrigeration, and/or electrical systems; training provided.
• Ability to operate diagnostic procedures on transport temperature equipment.
• Flexible to travel for training or customer needs.
• Must be able to obtain DOT medical card if required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively diagnose transport temperature equipment and perform repairs.
• Carry out routine maintenance on transport temperature control equipment.
• Install transport temperature control equipment per Thermo King specs.
• Perform Auxiliary Power Unit installation, repairs, and service.
• Maintain knowledge of Thermo King product developments and service bulletins.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain dealership paperwork.
