Job summary

Our client in San Jose, CA is seeking a Thermal Validation Engineer to join the Testing and Validation Department. You will set up prototypes for thermal and acoustic testing, conduct laboratory testing on electro-mechanical and telecom products, and analyze data to support product development.

The ideal candidate has experience with thermocouples, wind tunnels, GR and NEBS standards, and strong communication skills with reporting proficiency.

Qualifications

• Laboratory testing experience with electro-mechanical and telecom products.
• Experience setting up prototypes for thermal and acoustic testing, including thermocouple installation and wind tunnel operations.
• Knowledge of telecom test standards such as GR and NEBS (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Set up prototypes for thermal and acoustic testing, including thermocouple installation and wind tunnel operations.
• Conduct laboratory testing on electro-mechanical and telecom products to validate thermal performance.
• Analyze test data and prepare detailed reports to support product development and validation processes.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve thermal-related issues.
• Ensure testing procedures comply with industry standards such as GR and NEBS.
