Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector in Gilbert, AZ seeks an Engineering Technician – Level 2 or Level 3 to support a large Environmental Test Thermal Vacuum facility. You will work hands-on with complex test equipment, under the guidance of senior staff, in a dynamic, rewarding environment.

The role supports 1st shift and may require 3rd shift. Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 2–4 years of related experience and the ability to obtain a DOD TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of related experience.
• Familiarity with Environmental Testing Processes or Thermal Vacuum Systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to support 3 shift rotation and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support setup and testing of complex Thermal Vacuum and Thermal Testing.
• Perform routine technical functions in development test engineering activities.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, and written plans to perform testing, troubleshooting and data collection.
• Diagnose malfunctions to component level and conduct defined engineering tests.
• Other duties as assigned.
