Job summary

itD is seeking a Thermal Testing Engineer to support thermal testing, lab validation, and data collection to enable reliable system performance. The candidate will have hands-on experience with thermal testing, temperature measurement, and lab system assembly and troubleshooting.

Location is onsite in San Jose, CA with hourly pay between $27 and $27.69. Direct W2 employment only; benefits include medical, 401k, paid holidays, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant industry experience or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in thermal testing, temperature measurement and data collection.
• Laboratory experience with system assembly, test setup and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on thermal testing, temperature measurement, and data collection to support engineering validation activities.
• Assemble, configure, and troubleshoot laboratory test systems and equipment.
• Execute thermal test procedures and document test results, observations, and findings.
• Support setup and validation of liquid-cooling test systems and related configurations.
• Analyze test data and communicate results to engineering stakeholders for decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on test planning, execution, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation, test records, and technical reports.
