Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a hardware validation engineer to develop and execute test plans for components, systems and vehicles.

You will automate testing with Python/Pytest, troubleshoot CAN and embedded systems, and collaborate with design, reliability, manufacturing, and supplier teams. Lab equipment and environmental chambers will be used during testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute hardware validation and test plans.
• Test and debug thermal components at component, system, and vehicle levels.
• Automate testing, data collection, and analysis using Python/Pytest.
• Troubleshoot CAN communication and embedded systems.
• Perform root cause analysis and document test failures.
• Work with design, software, reliability, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
• Use lab equipment such as DAQs, pressure transducers, flow meters, temperature sensors, and power supplies.
• Conduct testing in environmental chambers under different conditions.
