Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Thermal Test Engineer to characterize, validate, and optimize thermal performance across multiple product configurations and customer requirements. The role focuses on developing and validating thermal solutions, including closed-loop PID control, to ensure adherence to specifications.

You will collaborate with design and test teams to drive robust thermal performance across platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience with thermal analysis, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
• Background in thermal testing, validation, and system integration.
• Experience working with complex electromechanical or high-performance systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal analysis, characterization, and validation of components and systems.
• Develop and test closed-loop PID thermal control systems to maintain required temperatures.
• Conduct system-level testing as components are integrated into full assemblies.
• Support multiple configurations and customer-specific requirements during development.
• Troubleshoot thermal issues related to heat dissipation in chip-level or high-power systems.
