Job summary

Mainstream Engineering Corporation in Florida is seeking motivated thermal engineers to develop cutting-edge products for military, governmental, and commercial customers. Systems include pumped loops, vapor compression, radiation cooling, and thermal storage; components include coldplates and heat exchangers.

Projects span from ideation to production with emphasis on innovative cooling technologies. You will perform analytical calculations, CFD/FEA simulations, laboratory builds and testing,

Qualifications

• Hands-on laboratory test experience with thermal systems.
• BSME or MSME degree required, GPA 3.3 or higher.
• US Citizenship due to ITAR regulations.
• Experience with data acquisition systems (LabVIEW) including sensors.
• CFD/FEA modeling experience is a plus (ANSYS/FLUENT).

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to production across thermal systems.
• Perform analytical calculations and experimental testing in the lab.
• Develop and validate designs for heat exchangers, coldplates, and storage devices.
• Prepare proposals and interface directly with customers.
