Job summary

NOVONIX is seeking a Thermal Processing Operator to operate production/pilot heat treatment equipment and report to the Production Operations Manager at our Riverside facility in Chattanooga, TN. The role is fully onsite with multiple shift options.

You will monitor furnace gauges and HMIs/PLCs, collect samples for lab analysis, and move materials using a forklift. You will document data in Excel, follow SOPs and safety procedures, assist in maintenance/startups, and keep logs up to date.

• Able to follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Willing to work onsite in multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor furnace via gauges, HMI/PLC.
• Collect samples and deliver to lab.
• Operate forklift to move materials.
• Document data in Excel.
• Follow SOPs and safety procedures.
• Assist in maintenance and startup of new equipment.
• Maintain logs and clean work area.
• Identify equipment issues and support management.
