Job summary

The role requires a BS in mechanical engineering and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include collaborating with customers, creating detailed drawings, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring designs meet manufacturing capabilities and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience creating 3D models and drawings with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and project leads to understand product requirements and develop cost-effective, innovative solutions.
• Design and develop thermal and mechanical components to meet customer specifications.
• Create 3D models, detailed parts and assemblies, inspection drawings, using SolidWorks.
• Ensure designs align with manufacturing capabilities and company standards.
• Procure materials, place purchase orders, issue manufacturing work orders, and coordinate delivery with vendors.
• Develop laboratory test plans to validate key product characteristics and customer requirements.
• Analyze experimental data to improve product performance and functionality.
