Job summary

Airswift is seeking a thermal-fluids engineer to join its pioneering energy/defense-oriented team in Houston. You will perform thermal-hydraulic analyses and contribute to advanced reactor and power conversion concepts, collaborating with seasoned engineers.

You will develop CFD and system-level models, evaluate heat transfer and fluid mechanics, and document calculations and findings to support design studies and performance optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, Chemical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in thermal-hydraulics, thermal-fluids engineering, CFD, systems analysis, power generation, nuclear, aerospace, defense, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
  • Experience with engineering calculations, modeling, simulation, and technical documentation.

  • Advanced degree or additional specialization in a relevant engineering field.
