Applicantz, Inc is seeking a highly motivated Thermal Engineer to lead characterization and modeling of a thermal control assembly with embedded heaters and a liquid-cooled plate. The role focuses on developing a physics-based, experimentally validated transfer function for two coolant formulations.
The successful candidate will design experiments, develop analytical and computational models, and correlate predictions with measured results across varying operating conditions.
Hiring for a 5-6 months hyrbid role in Fremont (94538). Regular, Mon-Fri, 40 | 8am-5pm PST, 3 days in office & 2 days remote.
We are seeking a highly motivated Thermal Engineer to lead the characterization and modeling of a thermal control assembly consisting of embedded heaters and a liquid-cooled plate. The primary objective is to develop a physics-based and experimentally validated transfer function that predicts thermal performance when transitioning between two specified coolant formulations.
The successful candidate will design and execute experiments, develop analytical and computational models, correlate model predictions to measured results, and establish methodologies for predicting temperature uniformity, thermal transients, and steady-state thermal behavior across varying operating conditions.
This role requires strong expertise in heat transfer, thermal management, instrumentation, data analysis, and engineering problem-solving. The position involves both hands-on laboratory work and advanced modeling activities.
