Job summary

North Atlantic Industries, Inc. is seeking an Intern - Mechanical Engineer Thermal to support thermal design and testing for new and existing products.

You will gain hands-on experience with thermal design, testing, and manufacturing of high-reliability electronic systems. Key activities include drafting mechanical designs, performing basic thermal analyses, assisting fixture development, and documenting design updates for engineering stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Pursue a degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Systems Engineering.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of electronics.
• Communicate effectively and apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and detail mechanical designs for new and existing products.
• Contribute to thermal analysis and related design evaluations.
• Assist with fixture and tooling design in support of thermal testing.
• Evaluate mechanical design constraints affecting performance and manufacturability.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate design updates to engineering stakeholders.
