Job Expectations:

Schedule

• Start Time: 8:30AM
• Shifts: 3 per month: 2 weekends, 1 weekday
• Training: Available to commit for 3-4 consecutive weeks including NEO week

Experience and Education

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

• Licenses and Certifications: CPR AED or BLS accredited by AHA or ARC

Preferred:

• 1 year therapy technician experience in hospital or outpatient rehab setting

Job Duties:

• Knowledge of laws, policies, regulations, and standards affecting decisions and interpretations
• Develop rapport with patients and families for participation in activities
• Transfer, transport, and position patients
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Set up/remove equipment, perform routine maintenance, report defects, communicate patient responses
• Organize treatment schedules efficiently
• Assist in training and supervising staff and volunteers
• Perform other duties as assigned
