Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Therapy Technician - Physical Therapy to support patient care in our rehabilitation services. This PRN position requires assisting with treatments, preparing patients, and maintaining equipment.

You will work with a high-performing team, using modalities like ultrasound and e-stim, while ensuring chart reviews, charges entry, and compliance with CPR/BCLS training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year rehab tech experience preferred.
• BCLS certification required before independent patient care.
• Strong communication with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for treatment using appropriate draping and positioning.
• Assists with modalities including ultrasound, e-stim, paraffin, fluidotherapy, heat and cold.
• Assists with entry of patient charges.
• Reviews patient data and charts as requested.
• Cleans and maintains equipment.
• Documents cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintains CPR and education requirements and training as required.

Work hours

PRN- Monday through Friday Availability needed. Clinic is open Monday through Thursday 7:00am - 6:00pm and Friday 7:00am - 1:00pm

Here’s What You Need

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required
• 1 Year Rehab tech is preferred
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required
• Ability to communicate and respond verbally and in writing to or for patients, family members and staff members

What You Will Do

• Prepares patient for treatment using appropriate draping and positioning
• Assist with use of modalities including ultrasound, e-stim, paraffin, fluidotherapy, heat and cold.
• Assists with the entry of patient charges
• Reviews patient data and charts as requested
• Cleans and maintains equipment
• Documents the cleaning and maintenance of equipment
• Maintains, documents and communicates current CPR and education requirements and obtains all training and education required by the system, hospital and department
