Job summary

The Carpenter Health Network in Baton Rouge is now hiring for Part-time & PRN Therapy Technicians. You will support the Therapy Department by transporting patients, preparing them for treatment, and assisting professional staff to maximize patient care.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and current BLS/CPR. The team emphasizes patient communication and clean, orderly work areas. All inquiries are confidential. EOE.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from the Therapy Department.
• Prepares patient for prescribed treatment and assists professional staff with patient treatment.
• Communicates with patients, families, significant others and members of the healthcare team to promote maximum benefits from care.
• Obtains equipment, materials, and supplies from storage areas or appropriate department, and prepares them for use.
• Maintains the department in a clean and orderly condition.

Education
