Job summary

Kirby Medical Center in Monticello, IL is seeking a patient-focused Therapy Technician to join our Therapy Services department. You will support clinicians by preparing treatment areas, handling equipment, and transporting patients to their therapist.

Responsibilities include organizing supplies, scheduling patients, and delivering friendly, professional customer service to patients and families. A high school diploma is required; CPR preferred.

Kirby Medical Center is looking for an patient focused individual to fill our Therapy Technician position.

The Therapy Technician is responsible for assisting the therapy team to provide excellent patient care by preparing treatment areas, equipment and transporting patients to their designated therapist. The Therapy Technician helps to organize supplies, schedules patients and provide customer service.

Requirements

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification preferred
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic knowledge of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology.
• Basic knowledge of therapy equipment operation, maintenance and repairs of same.
• Basic computer knowledge.
