Vibra Hospital of Northern California, located in Redding, CA, is a 50 bed Critical Care Hospital and a 32 bed SNF providing long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. We are seeking Therapy Techs to join our team!

Responsibilities

Responsible for performing routine rehabilitation procedures within a designated program set up by a licensed therapist, with the goal of maintaining an optimal functional level for the patient. Responsible for transporting, preparing, positioning, and in general assisting patients and therapists in the successful completion of the treatment plan.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.


• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within three (3) months of hire.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Previous experience in rehabilitative techniques and procedures preferred.


• One (1) year of healthcare experience preferred.


• Exercise certification and/or related education preferred.


• Ability to project a professional image.


• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.


• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.


• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.


• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.


• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $23.00 to $26.43/hr
