Hospital Details

SKY REHAB, located in Bowling Green, KY, is a 60-bed inpatient rehab hospital providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you get to know your patients and their families. SKY Rehab Hospital is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for services including Inpatient Rehabilitation (Adults, Adolescents, and Children), Brain Injury Specialty Program (Adults), and Stroke Specialty Program (Adults). It is also accredited by The Joint Commission.

Responsibilities

Perform routine rehabilitation procedures within a designated program set up by a licensed therapist, aiming to maintain an optimal functional level for the patient. Assist with transporting, preparing, positioning, and supporting patients and therapists in completing treatment plans successfully.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor within three months of hire.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Previous experience in rehabilitative techniques preferred.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Exercise certification and/or related education preferred.
• Professional image, regulatory knowledge, organizational skills, decision-making ability, and computer proficiency are valued.
• No illegal drug or alcohol use in the workplace.
