Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with non-clinical aspects of therapy sessions under the direction of licensed therapy staff.
  • Help patients prepare for and transition between therapy activities.
  • Support patient transport to and from therapy areas as needed.
  • Provide encouragement and assistance to promote patient participation and safety.
  • Prepare and maintain therapy treatment areas, equipment, and supplies.
  • Clean, organize, and disinfect equipment in accordance with infection control standards.
  • Assist with non-clinical documentation and administrative tasks.
  • Support scheduling and coordination of therapy activities.
  • Contribute to patient satisfaction by maintaining a clean, organized, and supportive environment.
  • Work under the supervision and direction of licensed therapy staff.
  • Communicate effectively with therapists and team members regarding patient needs and workflow.
