Job summary

Tristar Physical Therapy is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to support our outpatient therapy team. You will assist patients with prescribed exercises, prepare treatment areas, and help therapists deliver care in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting therapists with prescribed exercise programs.
• Ability to prepare treatment areas and set up modalities.
• Knowledge of infection control and clean workspace standards.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities as directed by licensed Physical and Occupational Therapists.
• Prepare patients for treatment sessions, including setting up modalities (heat, ice, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, traction).
• Monitor patients during exercises and report concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment per clinic protocols.
• Ensure treatment areas are stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
• Assist with patient flow by escorting patients and preparing treatment spaces.
• Set up and clean treatment areas before and after each patient visit.
• Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming experience for patients and families.
• Perform other clinic support duties as assigned to promote efficient operations.
