Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a C.N.A. certification.
• Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios to practical situations.
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with patient handling.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers, coworkers, families, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup for physical, occupational, and speech therapy treatments.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and equipment protocols.
• Communicate routinely with supervisors and therapists.
• Transports, transfers, and prepares patients and equipment as directed by therapists.
• Accurately complete and submit logs and other forms as directed by supervisor.
• Participate in denials management activities as needed.
