Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for treatment by therapist; assists therapists during therapy.
• Transports patients independently to and from department using stretcher or wheelchair.
• Maintains equipment and working area in clean, orderly condition.
• Assists in ordering supplies; orders linens and maintains linen closet in a neat and orderly condition.
• Places patients in position for treatment and assists in transfers.
• Assembles and places equipment and supplies for use.
• Performs a variety of duties essential to the function of the department.
• Transports equipment and supplies.
• Assists in workshops, as required.
• Performs related duties as required including messages and basic data entry as needed.
