Job summary

Building Therapy Leaders in Washington state is seeking an in-house therapy assistant to support therapists and therapy staff in delivering patient care. The role emphasizes safe patient transportation, setup/cleanup, and daily cleaning of treatment areas in a facility environment.

You will work with nurses and therapists, learn from experienced teams, and enjoy a flexible schedule with competitive benefits. Prior medical setting training and at least one year in long-term care are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have prior training in a medical setting.
• One year’s experience in long-term care or related setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Therapists and Therapy Assistants.
• Safe and efficient patient transportation.
• Patient and equipment setup/cleanup.
• Daily cleaning of treatment area and equipment.
• Report any patient concerns to DOR and/or supervising therapist.
• Able to obtain basic medical information (blood pressure, heart rate, O2 saturations, etc.)
