Description:Unit Information:This position is in a facility with a total of 281 beds.There are 11 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants on staff.The team includes 2 office coordinators, and 8 Physical Therapists work on a PRN basis.All staff members work the day shift.

Patient Ratios:The expected patient ratios are 8-10 patients for 8 hours worked.Therapists are assigned 10-13 patients during their shifts.

Type of Equipment:The equipment used includes walkers, crutches, braces, and wheelchairs.

Documentation System:The electronic documentation system used is Meditech.

Call Requirements:Staff are required to call by 7:00 AM to confirm attendance.

Typical Procedures:Physicians perform evaluations, treatment, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and therapeutic activities.

Additional Preferences:Candidates should be quick studies who can quickly adapt to the workplace and learn the documentation system.Previous travel experience is preferred.

Dress Code:The required scrub color is gray.
