Description:Occupational therapist position in an acute care hospital setting.Shifts are days, with variable start times between 0700 and 0800.There is a weekend rotation of one weekend day shift per month.No on-call responsibilities required.Flexibility in start time may be needed to accommodate scheduling.Patient ratio experience of 1:7-9 is expected.Skills in acute care, adaptive equipment, and various rehabilitation techniques are essential.Experience with a range of patient diagnoses, including neurological disorders and joint surgeries, is preferred.Collaborative interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy and social services.Focus on patient and family education, discharge planning, and safety measures.Solid color scrubs are required, with 10 approved colors.Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.Return travelers must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning.Pending licenses may be considered; active licenses are required before the start date.
